The name Bagro

Some might wonder about the name Bagro, where did it come from? It's an extremely nerdy story, but here it is.

It was July, 2002. Neverwinter Nights had been released a couple of weeks before and I had just bought it perfectly for a four week vacation. It was an interesting vacation where I, like any normal person, sat and played until roughly 4 in the morning every day, remember almost always hearing the birds waking up making me realize how late (early?) it was. I then slept until around 13:00 😄.

The first few days I played different characters and classes, but no one stuck. Then when creating a new character I decided to go for a ranger. When it was time to select a name I had gotten Qualida as last name, which I kinda liked. So I started to look over the keyboard and started sounding "names", I liked the beginning Ba and continued on that. I soon had Bag, and felt I needed something more. I don't remember exactly how the ro got there, but when I saw Bagro Qualida on the screen it felt right.

After I had played with the ranger Bagro Qualida, I started to really like the name and decided to use Bagro as my handle and have since then. In July, 2006, I registered the domain, mainly to use for mail.

That's how Bagro came about.
